What is the first step we take to see if we would like you to create our wedding cake?

The first step would be for you to fill out the enquiry form on the contact page of this website. Once I receive the email I will contact you to see if you would like to arrange a suitable time for a complimentary consultation and cake tasting. I am based from home in Nantwich, Cheshire so it's easy to arrange a time that is best for you either in or outside usual office hours.
Can we bring anyone else with us?

Yes, that's fine. Often Mums or bridesmaids want to get involved with the design of the cake. Please give me notice of how many guests you intend to bring to the consultation so I know how many samples to provide!
What is the format for payment for our wedding cake?

Once you are happy with the design, you must read through the order form and terms and conditions. At this point you sign the order form and 40% of the total amount is due. This is a booking fee and covers the initial costs involved in the early stages of creating your wedding cake. Only once I have received this payment can the order be confirmed. This booking fee is nonrefundable. The final balance is due anytime up to one month before the wedding.
Payments can be made via BACS, cash, cheque or credit/debit card.
Can we make alterations to the design?

Yes but the closer it gets to the wedding the less easy it becomes. I will do my best to accommodate your requests but cannot guarantee I will be able to carry them out, especially if it is less than two months before the wedding. All alterations must be confirmed in writing and may incur additional cost.
Do you deliver to our venue?

Yes I can deliver and set up your cake for you at your venue. I charge £1 a mile from my base in Nantwich. I offer complimentary delivery and set up of your cake at all venues where I am a recommended supplier. Alternatively you are more than welcome to pick the cake up from me the day before the wedding and take it to the venue yourself.

Do you have cake stands we can hire?

Yes I have a variety of cake stands you can hire to compliment your cake. There is a hire charge and I take a £50 security deposit from you at point of order. Which I return to you on the stands safe and complete return.
Our wedding is a long time off and we haven't booked a venue yet, is there anything we can do to book you to create our wedding cake anyway?

Yes, you are able to book me for your date with a £50 holding fee. This enables you to relax knowing that I will be creating your cake for you and won't book anyone else into your slot. We can design the cake nearer the time when you know what your ideas are for the look of your wedding and venue.
